joeneugs (3262) - Livermore, California, USA - APR 24, 2014
330 ml. bottle dated 2/11/14. This batch is 6.9% ABV. It pours a nice golden color with a small but tight white head. The aroma is really nice and delicate with typical Citra profile of grapefruit, tropicals, a little grass and florals. Very fresh without much malt to get in the way. Just a hint of bread. The flavor is mouthwatering and delicious with lots of grapefruit, gooseberries. Mildly sweet, but itís a fruity sweetness and balanced well by a pleasant grassy bitterness. Very lively and snappy on the palate. This is a really nice IPA.

Bottle at the folks on Christmas day 2011 with mesandsim. Cloudy orange amber with a thin white head. Yep, that aroma sucked me right in. Hoppy, biscuit, grapefruit. Flavour is perfectly sweet, more hops and grapefruit, creamy malts. Great mouthfeel, itís superb.

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. 6.9%. Very hazy, amber colour. Thin, bubbly and broken, white head. Dried apricot. Light toffee. Light citric pith. Taste is jammy sweet and marmalade bitter. Soft carbonation emphasises a chewy, slightly oily palate. Pithy, bitter finish.

Pours deep orange, I got a little yeast in my pour, so slightly hazy. Mouthwatering hoppy aroma, with a really full complex taste, loads of hop kick, but balanced with fruity sweetness. A fantastic beer, could be slightly more carbonated but deliciuos .
