Cloudy amber beer with a thin frothy head. Unsurprisingly given the citra hops there’s a citrus aroma but with a grapefruit (I think) edge to it. The flavour has a sharp tangy flavour on the tongue and settles to leave a last, lemony and hoppy aftertaste.

Pours deep orange, I got a little yeast in my pour, so slightly hazy. Mouthwatering hoppy aroma, with a really full complex taste, loads of hop kick, but balanced with fruity sweetness. A fantastic beer, could be slightly more carbonated but deliciuos .

Bottled. Pours hazy, deep golden with an average lacing, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, Citrus, peach and apricot. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A great IPA.

Opaque golden orange with off-white lacing, lasting foam head. Aroma is hop, hop and hop. Taste is bitter, bitter and bitter. Aftertaste is bitter, bitter and bitter. Just a good IPA. (Barnsley 201404)

Keg @ The Vintage, Leith. Pours orange and cloudy with a slight white head. Huge citrus nose, big grapefruit and some grape as well. On the tastebuds its the same but after the first bitterness you get a malty sweetness about, this then gives way to bitter finish, complex and tasty, best Kernel beer i’ve had in a while.

Tap @ Animal Bar. Pours hazy yellow with a big, white, creamy head. Heavy fruity hops aroma, sweet, a bit dusty, light caramel. Flavor is light to moderate bitter, hoppy, tropical fruits, texture is a bit watery. Refreshing

Keg Half Pint at Euston Tap, London in Sept 2012 - Cloudy Orangey Amber in colour. Great fruity aromas. Very very Fruity; tropical fruits (melon, peach) and tangy grapefruit citrus. Very Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Malty backbone, biscuity malts. Super smooth. Wonderfully well balanced; many IPAs are too assertively harsh and bitter. Sweet tropical and citrus fruity hoppy throughout. I really enjoyed this. Very drinkable. Lovely IPA!

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy pale gold, foamy white head. Big grapefruit and mango aromas. Big bitter taste, light caramel back note. Lovely IPA.

33 cl. Bottle. Pours clear blond (sediments were not served) with a small white head that stays. Aroma of Citrus, tropical fruits and a hint of grains/cereals. Taste: some bitterness and tropical fruits. Smooth texture, nice mouthfeel. Not too much carbonation (just the right amount for my taste). Amazing beer with a remarkable drinkability.
