Bottle, drunk 6 weeks from bottling date. Aroma of intense citrus in the way the hop used can impart. Detect a tiny hint of yeast or other sugary smell. Pours a straw yellow, murky but pleasant-looking. Carbonation not excessive, but pleasantly present. Tastes refreshingly citrusy without being overpowering. Contains definite malt sweetness but not the cloying crystal malt kind. In that sense a thoroughly British IPA, and not an American one despite the hop variety used. Very pleasant half pint that shows different facets as it warms up.

Draught. Murky blonde with an almost white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, very intense with some citrus. Very smooth, creamy. Medium carbonation. Oily. Taste is more tropical fruit, some zesty flavours, some maltiness. Very good drinkability. Hoppy, but well balanced.

Topbier.

330ml bottle enjoyed @ home some time ago, thanks to Gary May. Pours murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is juicy tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, citrus, caramel, bready and pine. Taste is medium bitter and medium sweet. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finish is smooth and fruity. Well-balanced.

Bottle from Bottle Baron, at 6.7%. Bottled only a month ago. Pours murky golden as Kernels often tend to do. Luckily that’s pretty much the negative things to say. Nose is delicious fruity, juicy, sweetish, passionfruit, mango, some caramel and yeast. Tastes fruity, pineapple, passionfruit, resinous and grassy hops, light yeast. Doesn’t quite reach the aroma but still, after few "only" good or very good Kernel IPAs, this is spot on.

Tap @Alus Celle, Riga. Cloudy orange color. Tiny size, white head, stays. Citrus, fruity, dirty yeast and some caramel in aroma. Citrus, fruity, caramel in taste. Nice balance between citrusy hops and caramel. It’s strong, but can’t detect any hints of alcohol. Nothing is overdone. Highly drinkable. Nice one.

Aftertaste: citrus, bit grassy, very fruity, passion fruit, somewhat malty, bit of alcohol, little resinous, this is the stuff, man!

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2016 Pours murky with a decent head. Lovely aroma, with grassy hops and grapefruit notes. The texture is fantastic lush and dense. This beer tastes brilliant. Its complex and strong. Massively on the hoppy side but it pulls it off well!
