Bottle. Hazy gold brown with a thin foam. Aromas are biscuit and caramel with pineapple and floral pine. Woody with hints of seawater and mango. Flavours are sweet tropical fruit with some mango and lemon tartness. Bitter grapefruit with green pine. Yeasty with base caramel malts. Salty and peppery with good bitterness to finish. Good.

Bottle from Rehills of Jesmond. Pours quite a cloudy amber with a light layer of off white froth. Pleasant spicy pine hop aroma. The taste is lots of fresh pine with a lovely caramel backing. Fairly spicy too. Top notch drinkability and mouthfeel. Excellent beer.

Wow! Serious hop forward aromas, passion fruit, grapefruit, some resin too. Taste is Bittersweet with luscious tropical flavours and a grapefruit like pithiness and bitter astringency, which is well balanced. A really great beer, Kernel pack an incredible amount of flavour into their beers

Bottle@Desverger, Copenhagen. Pours golden with a white head with persistent lacing. Fresh fruity citrus and tropical aroma and taste, prominent grapefruit, peachy, mandarin and lemon, some pine and grassy nuances throughout. Gorgeous.

Unbelieveble beer. Gold color. Aroma is amazing, full of citruses and little bit hop. Medium body and very very well balanced. Taste is like a citruses bomb. At the end bitter from hop. Very, very, very good drinkable.

Aroma: tropical fruits, mango, peaches, some citrus fruits. Appearance: pale, hazy, gold, small, frothy, white beer. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets intensify, very juicy tropical fruits, some grain malts, turns lightly dry in the finish, very soft carbonation. Overall: very nice IPA, yet I was expecting a bit more, solid Kernel-quality, but is it their best IPA, not for me. Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath.

Pours a slightly cloudy dark yellow with a shortlived head which becomes a frothy layer quickly. Aroma is earthy, grassy, sprucey, citrusy and slightly floral - so fecken dank I may add it could alley-oop whilst doing a backflip. Taste is characteristically the same as the aroma - earthy, grassy, slightly orange citrussy and not very bitter. Very rich in both taste and aroma, once it coats your mouth the juice just stays there. Full bodied and very easy to drink.
