3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: citrus, floral notes, some grass and herbs. Appearance: hazy pale gold, hardly any head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: bitters coming up and getting quite intense in the long finish, citrus and flowers again. Overall: decent IPA, could be nicer in the aroma. Pint at Euston Tap, London.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Kirk, thanks! Dated 3/11. Pours a hazy straw color with almost no head. Aroma is pleasant: fresh piney hops, loads of orange, caramel malt. Taste is pleasant but falls short of the aroma for me: orange marmalade, lemon peel, light toffee and prune maltiness, mouth-drying piney bitterness. Low carbonation. Pretty good.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Am a big IPA fan, but overall, found this disappointing. Hops and other IPA characteristics are certainly present, but alcohol is too far to the fore for my liking.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (330 ml). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small/medium mostly lasting white head ans little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, dank hops, light malt and hints of alcohol. Taste is also of citrus, dank hops, good malt backbone and a warming alcohol finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Less impressive than other PA/IPA from the Kernel that I have tried yet, mainly because of the alcohol presence. It’s still very tasty though and quite drinkable.

Bottle at home. 7.1%. Bottled 10 March. Muddy amber with very fine carbonation which rapidly fades. Big nose of grapefruit and mandarin. Taste is bitter mandarin with a little funk. Strong bitter finish with a touch of booze. Classy as ever.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Clouded gold with white head. This proved to be a very dry and bitter beer with lots of grapefruit character, some herbiness. Lightly roasted malts carry the hops well, there is an oily note though along with the acidity. Good though a little one directional.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow, light brown. Fruity, juicy aroma with a little rye bread. Medium body, mild carbonation. Mango, trop fruit, toasty bread. A rushed review, but it's tasty...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had a bottle of this 1 week past its best before. Quite a dry herbal aroma, some grapefruit, pine, sherbet & orange. Taste again is quite herbal. It’s almost like an Orval IPA if there was such a thing. Quite bitter finish. Grapefruit, lemon peel and herbs. Not great but it was slightly past it’s best.
