My third tasting of The Kernel. This is better than my second, which made me think that I wasn’t so keen on this particular brewery (too bitter, not enough interesting flavour to warrant the bitterness). Smells and tastes wonderful. Refreshing, fruity, zesty, and with a definite punch of flavour to it. Again, perhaps a bit too bitter, but this time with a wonderful depth of flavour. I think that I could drink these regularly.

33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Rating #2900 Poured a very murky amber with a billowing cream head; tropical fruit aroma; big hoppy flavour (of course) with soft tropical fruits, mango and peach, to start then showing some hot peppery spiceness before a sweet, dry, sustained finish leaving a warming afterglow.

Bottle from mybrewerytap.com. Pours hazy amber, not much aroma. Tasty taste, mostly bitter with a bit of tropical taste. Rather nice.

My first kernel thanks to my nephew. Very excited, amazing smells from the glass, fruit and pine. Tastes earthy, not very pleasant, struggled through because it was a present.

Super dank standard ipa from kernel - very unbalanced and bitterness is almost overpowering. Almost unpleasant
