0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This one is a light hazy honey colored beer with a small slowly fading light bubbly off-white head. The aroma is light Belgian-yeasty-hoppy and kinda hedge-like. Fresh, with lotís of yellow citrus tones and also a sweet caramel-malty thing blended in here as well. Itís really citrus-hoppy in flavor. Makes my mouth feel quite dry while drinking it. Itís average carbonated, medium-bodied. I get much of that same Belgian yeast discovered in the aroma with a good hoppy flavor all the way. A bit floral actually towards the finish. Not the best Iíve had from the great brewery, but still a damn solid IPA that paired well with an Asian spicy chicken salad. 28.05.2012

Bottle from Kirk, thanks! Dated 3/11. Pours a hazy straw color with almost no head. Aroma is pleasant: fresh piney hops, loads of orange, caramel malt. Taste is pleasant but falls short of the aroma for me: orange marmalade, lemon peel, light toffee and prune maltiness, mouth-drying piney bitterness. Low carbonation. Pretty good.

Am a big IPA fan, but overall, found this disappointing. Hops and other IPA characteristics are certainly present, but alcohol is too far to the fore for my liking.

Bottle (330 ml). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small/medium mostly lasting white head ans little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, dank hops, light malt and hints of alcohol. Taste is also of citrus, dank hops, good malt backbone and a warming alcohol finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Less impressive than other PA/IPA from the Kernel that I have tried yet, mainly because of the alcohol presence. Itís still very tasty though and quite drinkable.

Bottle at home. 7.1%. Bottled 10 March. Muddy amber with very fine carbonation which rapidly fades. Big nose of grapefruit and mandarin. Taste is bitter mandarin with a little funk. Strong bitter finish with a touch of booze. Classy as ever.

Keg at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Clouded gold with white head. This proved to be a very dry and bitter beer with lots of grapefruit character, some herbiness. Lightly roasted malts carry the hops well, there is an oily note though along with the acidity. Good though a little one directional.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow, light brown. Fruity, juicy aroma with a little rye bread. Medium body, mild carbonation. Mango, trop fruit, toasty bread. A rushed review, but it's tasty... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had a bottle of this 1 week past its best before. Quite a dry herbal aroma, some grapefruit, pine, sherbet & orange. Taste again is quite herbal. Itís almost like an Orval IPA if there was such a thing. Quite bitter finish. Grapefruit, lemon peel and herbs. Not great but it was slightly past itís best.
