Bottle from a trade with Theydon_Bois. Huge thanks! Hazy golden/apricot color with a rich lasting white head. Hoppy citrus aroma, floral notes, grapes, hay, pine apples, biscuits, earthy notes. Hoppy fruity flavor, candy, hay, quite bitter, biscuits, citrus, woody notes. A bit unbalanced to be Kernel.

Cunningham (4438) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2013

Appearance: Cloudy color with a thick off white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Rich grape hoppy and fine tropical fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Smooth balanced grape hoppy, tropical fruity and a fine malty back. Also some grassy notes.
Overall impression: Tasty and powerful IPA. Maybe a little bit unbalanced.
Personal stats: Bottle from OddBins at London Bridge in London, England.

Bottle at home with the Beast, 10th August 2013. Pours pretty cloudy, aroma is tropical fruit and pine, taste is delicious, citrus, pine resin and mouth feel rich and smooth. Another cracker from Kernel, although my preference are the single hop IPAs

This pours a very murky and rather unattractive brakish colour. Palate is excellent and tending towards the syrupy. Aroma not hugely pronounced and not piney or citrusy or highly tropical but towards the sweeter candy side. Taste is the same, with some mild astringency towards the end. Low carbonation. Not a great Kernel to be honest.

Bottle at Beer Rebellion. Bottled on 17/06/13. Pours a hazy orange gold colour. Nice zesty light tropical fruit aroma. Mediun to light body. Foamy mouthfeel. Lots of fruit - mango, pineapple with citrussy grapefruit too and a good bitter finish. Very nice.
