Another winning IPA from Kernel. This gets the juice flowing and while there are elements of cloying sweetness from the hops at the end, this is a fantastic beer.

Bottle, last night So juicy. I just want to drink this style like this more. Just why can’t other breweries do it as well as Kernel? So much mango and papaya fruits. So dank. So juicy. Super clean. Easy-drinking. Great IPA.

Super juicy, very fresh fruity aroma and taste with typical oily notes from mosaic. Great mouthfeel, so refreshing. Awesome beer.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours London murky with a thin short-lived white head. Aromas of white grape, green grass. Taste is bitter, very fruity. Juicy fruit chewing gum. Bitter finish.

Another super hoppy, but amazingly easy to drink ipa from kernel. Marmalade on the nose, with lots of bitterness on the finish.

Tasting at Mrk’s. Bottle from De Molen webshop, arrives with date past best before date. Nonetheless a very nice hoppy, fruity, lime, pine, flowery IPA. Oily sweet deep bitter finish. Good stuff! Backlog from 2014/12/06.

Yields a cloudy golden-amber color with a small, stable white head. Offers a very diversified, inviting hop profile, featuring water melon, blood orange, pine apple, apple peel and a soft touch of lime. The beer has a honey sweet maltiness to it, which gets balanced by lime and wet grass, leaving the focus on the hops. A skunky sweet undertone adds to the malts, countering the beers otherwise utmost refreshing, crisp impression. Has a very soft, medium carbonation, establishing a creamy, pleasant mouthfeel. Tastes from the very beginning of a profound, honey sweet maltiness with an aqueous softness to it, together with a note of dough. Hops add a nice, lemony bite to the honey, carefully establishing a crisp counterpart to the malts. Until the finish, malts and hops are pretty much on par, with a well working, soothing aqueous quality being well recognizable. Dank qualities with prickly, juicy lemon get most distinct after the swallow, while leaving the palate in a clean, smooth fashion. This drinks fairly easy, while its actual hop qualities shine surprisingly late, which may be due to the honey maltiness, getting picked up way faster than the complex bitterness. On the palate, hops appear to be much more streamlined than on the nose, which may be necessary to be able to balance the profound malt backbone effectivly. They are certainly able to do so, even removing an initial malty slickness, while establishing a convincing, pungent lime punch.

330ml bottle enjoyed @ home, thanks to Gary. Pours hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma is fresh, peach, mango, pineapple, citrus and grapefruit. Flavour is medium sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied, slick texture, average carbonation. Finish is juicy and light resinous, nice balance.

Probably the best british american style ipa ive had but still not great. Hazy golden color with minimal head. Aroma is mild scallion, flowers, and tropical fruits. Taste is where this falls short again. Lacks punch in flavor and has an off doughy yeastyness that i get in most kernel beers.

Bottle, decent, excellent base beer, the hops where very boring, cant really tell what this is, very light aroma and very light flavor This is still a very british beer.
