Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky pale golden body with a thin white head that fades. Very little lacing. Aroma of lychee, mango, lime and green apple. Sweet fruit salad flavour. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. A tangy, fruity IPA thatís very drinkable for its 7.2% ABV.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Mesmerizing that one hop could produce so much complexity. Mango, grapefruit, some floral notes and some nebulous...blueberry??? Thatís a first. Beautifully smooth. Has some herbal notes up front which are consumed by mango and tropical fruits. Some sweet malt in the undergrowth. Finishes with quite a soft bitterness. Thereís also a weird minty quality on the back-end. What an individual beer...maybe an individual hop. Iím taking a shot in the dark and deducing that that is why it is named ímosaicí.

Bottle bought online from Etre Gourmet. Bottled Aug 24, 2013. 7.2% abv. It pours a cloudy yellow orange(itís bottle conditioned) with a 1" head of foam and brings some very nice lacing. Big time grass and grapefruit in the smell with no hint of any malt. This IS super fresh and an American IPA so....;^) Grapefruit is on the prowl, some grassy notes standing by the grapefruit assuring that the Mosaic hops do their job right. And they do. Weirdly, the only time I notice any malt character is during the swallow. A bit of slightly sweet going on there only at that time. Is it bitter? For sure! Is it too much for Bitterbill to handle? Laws no! Iím digging it! Medium bodied with ditto for the carbonation. Just fine for the style and for my palate. Drinkability is very good for the abv and since Iím a big fan of bottle conditioned brews, the cloudy appearance doesnít hurt the score in my book. This is really an enjoyable brew.
