Blonde tres tres tres legerement trouble.

Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller and Friends, Cph.
Pours clear yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma has resin, grapefruit, citrus, pine needles. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of hops, very bitter. Resiny, almost oily, soft piney. Fine maltiness to balance. Long, lingering very bitter finish. Very nice IPA.

Ah, more Kernel. First sighting in Belgium for me. 25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Keg. Looks a pretty pale citrus with a creamy white head. Nose is citrus, tad fake citrus peel, bitter spices hops & way mellower Kernel yeas than I am used to. Taste is spices & lemon peel hops, light citrus peel, Kernel yeast is more subdued than usual, bitter herbs & light spices in the back. Very light body, feels stronger than the ABV. Nice overall but very different than I am used to from Kernel bottles & draft at festivals. This has that Moeder feel to it, you know? Still not bad to get Kernel here.

Bottle, bottle date 2013-08-26. Light hazy golden with a medium sized good lacing white head. Sweet yellow kiwi, citrus, passion fruit, light mango, peach, light pale malt, white bread. Medium sweet and light/medium bitter, medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Pretty happy about the hoppy stuff from The Kernel.

Bottle from Grape n Grind. The Kernel rocks. There’s no more to it. Great hop, great style, and a great treatment thereunto. Arbor do this hop well, the Kernel do it better. That said, the carbing is a little intense in the Kernel’s - if you had Arbor’s mouthfeel with the Kernel’s balance and level of intensity you’d have a pretty spot on IPA. I hope these brewers read these things.
