Pours slightly hazy amber, small white head. Aroma is rich, fruity and a little floral. Flavour is a little earthy, good malt backbone, lots of sweet stone fruit and sour citrus to balance. A hint of pine, too. Medium bodied, very slightly oily, moderate and fine carbonation. Awesome.

Bottle from emporium. Pours a light golden with I small frothy head which lasts. Incredible fruity aromas, basically like smelling um bongo (on the button BeerCast_Rich) the taste is still fruity but more soapy with a hoppy pine Finish. Very drinkable for a 7.2% (well hidden)

Bottle from Brewtique, Macclesfield. After hearing many good things about this beer, I was very excited to try it. And lets say, it certainly didnít disappoint. A: This beer is very clear in the bottle. However, once the beer had been chilled slightly, it poured a mirky yellow due to chill haze (a somewhat signature appearance of all Kernel) with a small but tight head. S: Wow, this beer smells amazing. Tropical fruits, pineapple and citrus. Mosaic certainly sums up the aroma from this hop! T: After smelling profusely and tucking in, this beer holds up still. Fresh and very light taste of citrus and pineapple. No hint of the ABV at all, like drinking fruit juice. P: Nice and thin mouthfeel with a little carb, making this beer go down all to easy. O: Amazing IPA, easy to drink and packed full of flavour. Think alcoholic tropical juice. Well done Even.

My favourite Kernel so far - I like the sherbet tropical fruit endowed by the Mosaic hops. Citrus kiwi, mango, passion fruit, fresh apple, tangerine. Light straw colour, little head, some lacing. Light / medium bodied. Bitter undercurrent is just right - not too strong. Very good.

Bottle from the Kernel Brewery. Poured a hazy golden, with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, lychee and yeast esters. Mango and passionfruit flavours, with some dry grain. Finish was bitter resin, earthy grain and straw.

On tap at the BeerTemple. Clear very pale gold pour with lacy white head. Aroma is super hoppy, fruity kiwi-mango, soapy, grassy, hints of cat piss, citra style. Taste is quite bitter, very light maltiness, slightly strange mix of pine and tropical fruit with wet bitter grass. Palate is light, well carbed, very dry. An IPA that showcases all of Kernelís mastery, yet I become more and more convinced that mosaic is not my hop.

May 2014 - Bottle, 2 months old, 6.9%, into tulip. Hazy dull orange, lightly sparkling, very small white head. Aroma - is not that appetising. Iím mostly getting urinal (urine and pine), chemical, straw, orange in the background. Body is light, pretty foamy, low carbonation. Taste is semi-sweet, herbal, grapefruit, light bitterness, tacky dry finish. Nice enough - balanced, soft flavours yet comes across as very hoppy. (3.5)

July 2014 - Bottle, 2 weeks old, 7.2%. Hazy vibrant yellow, sparkling, small white head. Aroma - musty lemon, touch of pineapple, lager. Body is medium, quite foamy, a little spritzy. Taste is straw and grapefruit with a touch of alcohol coming through. (3.5)
