Slightly sweet initially, leading to robust bitter finish. Medium bodied with moderate and very fine carbonation. Slick mouthfeel, slightly oily. Well balanced. Lovely.

Half poured from tap at The Hanging Bat. Patchy surface to a cloudy, orange-gold body. Fresh and rather mild aromas of orange and tropical fruits. The taste follows the nose with succulent juicy fruits on a backbone of modest malty sweetness. Rounded and lingering bittersweet tail. Well bodied. Drinking pleasure, indeed (Edinburgh 07.08.2013).

Bottle, 2.5 months old. Peachy pink/orange with a little white head. Smell is initially peachy and pungent, settles down to become more citrusy. Carbonation is fairly high, can definitely taste the alcohol on this one. A little sharp and spicy in the finish. Not getting much fruit. Maybe a little old, but still OK.

Big gooseberry and kiwi fruit aroma. Very earthy and dry but with a long lingering peaches and cream finish. Smooth with late orange notes and just another mighty Kernel beer

Bottled June 4 - thanks a ton to Ben! Pours hazy amber gold with a small off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is citrus, tropical, pine resin, spruce tip, cat piss. Flavor is about the same, quite resinous. Little sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Pretty darn good, but I bet it was better in mid June!

330ml bottle. Hazy orange-amber colour, foam white head leaving some lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, citrus & pine hoppiness. Taste is malt caramel with melon, juicy mango, passionfruit, orange & pine hoppy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter clean finish. Really well balanced, very drinkable IPA.
