Big gooseberry and kiwi fruit aroma. Very earthy and dry but with a long lingering peaches and cream finish. Smooth with late orange notes and just another mighty Kernel beer

Bottle. White fluffy head with deep tangerine orange beneath. Aroma had wonderful depth but was subdued in comparison with other Kernel beers I have tried. Pineapple, resin, orange peel and floral notes from NS dominate. Decent amount of carbonation gives a bouncy palate with sweet fruit again prominent. The bitterness which ends is beautifully balanced by the citrus and malt. Great balanced beer.

Bottled on 04/06/12. Hazy orange colour with a thin white head. Big sweet pineapple aroma alongside tropical fruits and citrus. Fairly light and foamy though mildly carbonated. It’s fresh, sweet, bitter and dry with a crisp tropical fruity, grapefruit flavour. Good.

Bottle in the garden, 5th July 2013. A lovely IPA, very balanced. Poured cloudy, aroma is very hop pleasant, taste is a hop sensation, fresh, tropical fruit, not too bitter, not too sweet. Lovely beer

Mmm. Tasty, lemonadey nose. Flavour follows. Can’t be bothered with too analytical a rating but basically this is one of the worlds best brewers doing one of the great styles with three of the best hops, and it measures up. Rocking.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a white foam. Aromas are mango, pineapple and grapefruit with earthy, ripe apple and low pine. White grape juice with spiced oranges and bteady yeast. Bsse biscuit and caramel malts. Flavours are juicy tropical fruit with bitter lemon and grapefruit. Herbal with spritzy yeast and hints of mint. Woody and dry with warming, peppery alcohol. Washes over the tongue. Excellent.

330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark orange with a large, frothy head. Aroma is pineapple, melon and lychee. Taste has.melon to start. Strong bitter mango and pineapple finish. Hop taste lingers. Smooth and full in the mouth. Not intense, just really good and drinkable.
