May 2012 - Tap from brewery - Sweet and fruity, very easy drinking whilst still retaining a good level of bitterness and some complexity. V nice. Recommend.

Bottle at the Euston tap. Wow my favourite style of beer at it’s best. Pours a hazy amber orange. Full on fruity aroma. Perfect bitterness. What a beer!

Bottled 22/09/12. A golden beer with a whitish head and lacing. Lovely citrussy tropical fruit aroma. Excellent hoppiness in the mouth with just the right amount of bitterness. Good tropical fruits again. A good malt balance. A hint of spiciness. Very good.

Poured from a 330ml bottle at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green to a half pint glass (Jan ’12).
Cloudy amber-gold in colour with a decent enough white head on display, slowly subsiding as you drink.
Hoppy citrus aroma, some pine/wood in the nose.
Flavour wise stronger tropical citrus fruits, pineapple, maybe a little grapefruit and a smidge of hay/grass.Medium bodied, but seemingly light on the palate for 7% with a bitter sweet finish.

Bottle conditioned and lives up to it. Lovely lemony aroma opening with very little head. Lots going on in the taste. Earthy and strong.

Amber with off-white head. Aroma of citrus, peach and malt. Flavour with fruit and spices.

Bottle from Rehills in Newcastle. Hazy amber coloured with tropical fruit and orange flavours and a sweet fruity finish with slight woody notes. Another superb beer from The Kernel.

Aroma: Lovely musty aroma of candy and tropical fruit - lychee, papaya and mango.
Appearance: Hazy orange body, but to get the foamy white head, the beer needs to be poured straight almost into the glass rather than down its edge. Excellent lacing.
Taste: Tastes quite boozy - definitely tasting all of the 6.9% ABV. Initial malt sweetness with peach notes, then develops into a bitter, lingering finish.
Palate: Medium body with a slick, oily mouthfeel. Very soft carbonation.
Overall: Another tasty beer from Kernel, but it’s a slightly sweeter, more muted version if their Galaxy IPA, which is truly outstanding.
