Une magnifique IPA au nez sur les agrumes, le houblon, les épices, à la bouche tendue, minérale, ciselée avec un équilibre superbe. Un très belle IPA

Aroma: massive bubblegum, tropical fruits, overripe melon. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: tropical fruits, mango, melon, soft carbonation, long finish, medium body. Overall: very nice IPA, typical Kernel standard, well-balanced and immensely complex. Bottle at Powder Keg Diplomacy, Clapham.

330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons (bottled on 21-04-2015). Light amber, quite hazy, with a big, fluffy, forever lasting off white head. Oh yes, "fresh" Kernel IPAs always smell so good: sticky pine needles, light mint bubblegum presence, plenty of both tropical and citrusy hop notes. Overall very clean and inviting aroma if not too powerful. Even better in the mouth: perfectly balanced with absolutely no astringency whatsoever, lingering and solid bitterness, clean and persistent. Pleasent fruity (peaches, grapefruit) and resiny aftertaste. Juicy at first but perfectly dry and refreshing in the end. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. I’m starting to think that <2 months old Kernel hoppy beers are always 4+ beers. Damn.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. As Nelson Sauvin Simcoe. 6.8%. Hazy, dark orange. Kernel head. The hop combination in this is really good. The Nelson seems to come through first. Bit of tang. Crisp and clean. Then the skunky Simcoe. Bitter throughout. Hugely quaffable.

Nose is citric pith, bitter orange, light mineral, bread dough, straw, mandarin, melon. Taste comprises tangerine, sweet notes, light perfume, citric tinged straw, mandarin, light pine needle, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well rounded IPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden amber pour with a frothy off white head, citrus and grape aroma, taste has zesty citrus, pine, some grapefruit, passion fruity, slightly oily mouthfeel, excellent.
