Little cloudy blond to beige beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, little chemical, rubbery touch. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very fruity start, some citrus, sweet ripe mango, some melons, bit of grapefruit. Aftertaste: citrus, exotic fruits, very gentle bitterness, pineapple juice. Lovely beer! Had seconds. :p

Bottle from the brewery. Nice light rusty amber looking, big white foam head which dissipates to thin and then nothing. Nose is rich, earthy, citrousy, grapefruit, lemon, ripe mango, passion fruit, slightly chalky minerals, earthy rain on tarmac and volcanic rock. Taste is citrousy, hoppy, grapefruit, lemon, bitter citrous peel, chalky minerals, earthy rain on tarmac, pain. Fresh and juicy, hoppy IPA. Soft fruit, chalky minerals. this one’s a good ’un.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2015 Strong tropical fruit, zesty and grapefruit freshness. Subdued malts. Smooth body and very drinkable. Nothing stands out - just a „correct” well-crafted beer.

Aroma: massive bubblegum, tropical fruits, overripe melon. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: tropical fruits, mango, melon, soft carbonation, long finish, medium body. Overall: very nice IPA, typical Kernel standard, well-balanced and immensely complex. Bottle at Powder Keg Diplomacy, Clapham.

330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons (bottled on 21-04-2015). Light amber, quite hazy, with a big, fluffy, forever lasting off white head. Oh yes, "fresh" Kernel IPAs always smell so good: sticky pine needles, light mint bubblegum presence, plenty of both tropical and citrusy hop notes. Overall very clean and inviting aroma if not too powerful. Even better in the mouth: perfectly balanced with absolutely no astringency whatsoever, lingering and solid bitterness, clean and persistent. Pleasent fruity (peaches, grapefruit) and resiny aftertaste. Juicy at first but perfectly dry and refreshing in the end. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. I’m starting to think that <2 months old Kernel hoppy beers are always 4+ beers. Damn.
