Bottle from the brewery. 7.0%. Hazy, gold colour. Thin, sticky, bright white head. Super fresh, Simcoe hop aroma to this. Like sticking your nose into a freshly opened bag full. Sweet, biscuit, grainy maltiness by way of back up, but with a lightly dank fustiness, that brings everything together. Taste is sweet and bitter in equal proportion. Light, herby, basil like oiliness on the palate. Finish is long, herbal, spicy bitterness. The beans.

Tap at the Beer Co in Bricknel-London, England january 2014 Pours lightly hazy orange with a small soapy white head with sparse lacing. nose is floral gym sock funk like simcoe does sometimes but note unpleasant like some others. Flavors are astringent pine lite soap cheese and grapefruit. some lite floor cleaner as well as tropical notes. lots of grapefruit, which suprises me for this hop. nice big ipa here and especially since its a single hop ipa!

Bottled, Rehills, Newcastle. Lovely mango and fresh orange peel aroma, palate is initially soft and creamy, but a pleasant grassy dryness creeps in. Sherbet lemon tang in the finish, with some juicy maltiness coming through too. Another cracker.
