Draught. A bit hazy pale golden beer with an offwhite head. Fruity, hoppy, malty caramel aroma. Hoppy floral fruity grassy flavour.

Backlog rating. Keg at the brewery tap room, London. It pours a golden clear colour with medium white head. Aroma is intensely hoppy and fruity with grapefruit, lemon, pine. Taste is similar and very hoppy/fruity. Medium mouthfeel and good carbonation. Definitely good juicy IPA.

Small glass, draught at Bishops Arms in Luleå. Low, white patchy surface. Spotty lacing down the glass. Unclear golden coloured body. Sweaty hops on the nose. Prominent hop driven flavours of peach, pine, grass and semi-dry malts. Bitter finish. Nice, a bit heavy to dink though (24.05.2014).

Draught: Hazy golden yellowish body, light off white head. Spruce, pine, fruit-peel-malts to the nose. Strong fruity hops to the tongue, roasted fruity malts, wood, ash, resin, ananas (pineapple). As a solid IPA, I assume. Well bodied the IPA hoppy way, ok carbonation. Finishes heavy bitter, but solid, and lingering. (On Tap@The Bishops Arms (Luleå) Sat24May2014)

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Cloudy golden-yellow coloured with citrus and tropical fruit flavours, a creamy mouthfeel and bitter pine on the finish. Bottle Conditioned.

330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons, served in a nonic pint glass. Bottled on 28-01-2014. Pale sunrise orange, slightly hazy, with a small, creamy, persistent white head. Good lacing. On the nose tropical fruits, citrus, pine resin, a hint of caramel malts, slightly earthy. Big astringency during the first sip, not too heavy on the bitterness side, very fruity and citrusy. Again quite resinous in the aftertaste, with just a little hint of the alchool. Soft to average carbonation, light to medium body, creamy texture. Clearly not extremely fresh being 4+ month old, but it’s still a pretty solid IPA.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 28 March 2014) Golden amber colour, hazy, with frothy white head. Fruit, malty nose with notes of citrus, peaches and tropical fruit. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, passion-fruit, peaches and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Another rock solid IPA from Kernel, quite fruity this one. Very nice.

Tap at bierfestival Groningen 2014. Earthy aroma’s, urine-ilke. Fortunately it drinks a lot betterf than the smell. Nice taste, refreshening, not too bitter. Good one.

Another great IPA from The Kernel. Slightly earthy, plenty of citrus, some mango, a little pine. Sweetness and bitterness well balanced. Medium bodied, slightly slick. Great.
