3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
For me a little bitter but nonetheless another solid IPA from Kernel. Hops dominate as ever, but there’s a sharper grapefruit and acidic lemon with pine cutting through the heart of this. Bit boozier on the end than normal for their 7%ers too. Refreshing afterburn actually.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Craft Beer Co. Pours cloudy orang with a small white leaving amazing lacing. Nose is toffee and tropical fruits perfecting balance between the two. Fair bit of grapefruit at the back end which works well. Loads of toffee in the taste with heavy apricot. Very creamy mouth feel with light sweetness and not a great deal of bitterness but what is there is quite zesty. A fair bit resinous and sticky. Solid without being spectacular

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at the brewery - thanks to Jack. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy, white head. Lots of salty pee in the nose, some lemon. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of rindy bitterness, some boozy kick, light minerals, fine bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, moderately resinous with ripening orange, tangerine, some pine needles. Nice IPA overall.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap, poured a beautiful solid pale gold. Subtle fruit notes, great hoppy taste with a bitter but balanced finish
