Bottle-7.4 per cent. Cloudy yellow with a yellow aroma. Full of cirus and hoppy flavours that hit you upon opening. Quite a thick palate upon stunningly pleasant. Why call it Stella a name associated with blandness and uniformity?

Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle - 7.4% ABV. A hazy amber coloured beer with a strong orange marmalade flavour, tropical fruit notes and a bitter hoppy finish. Superb!

33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring - ABV 6.2% Poured a slightly hazy golden amber, leaving a deep sediment in the bottle, and with a ring of white head; rich piney aroma with some tropical fruit; thick and oily in the mouth with an explosion of hops and honeyed fruits; well-balanced with along dry resinous finish. Good stuff.

From a bottle. Pours misty orange with white head. Aroma is a bit pissy, some caramel. Taste is less pissy, fruity hops, malt more prominent in this one, caramel and a little yeasty.

Clear medium to dark orange yellow colour with a large to huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, peach, flowers, fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Brauhaus, Edinburgh. Hoppy aroma. Cloudy amber colour, good head. Strong hoppy flavour, bitter aftertaste. A good IPA but very similar to other Kernel Beers.

Bottle at home. Dark murky amber body, thin white head. Classic Kernel nose, soft grapefruit, passion fruit, mango. Juicy tropical fruits with a pronounced lemony bitterness. Some woodiness also. Long dry linger. Very nice.

Bottled@Kernel. Aroma is fruity, wooden, herbal and quite grassy with also some mild rubbery and yeasty notes. Flavour is rubber, some fruity and floral notes.

Bottle at 7.4%. Golden brown with an off-white head. Aromas are piney with grapefruit and floral notes. Marzipan with creamy oak and sandalwood. Flavours are toast and caramel with bitter, dry grapefruit. Spicy with pineapple and pine. Juicy fruit.

Bottle from Drink Monger. Pours a hazy golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma is really fruity with passion fruit and pineapple. Similar fruity flavours with a bit of mango and grape fruit also. Nicely bitter. Moderate carbonation, nice oily mouth-feel. Great beer!
