3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Drink Monger. Pours a hazy golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma is really fruity with passion fruit and pineapple. Similar fruity flavours with a bit of mango and grape fruit also. Nicely bitter. Moderate carbonation, nice oily mouth-feel. Great beer!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via The Dram Shop. 12 Days of Xmas at home beerfest. Greyish cloudy honey appearance. Aroma of wet fresh hops...peach and grapefruit with a spice backbone. Less syrupy than expected, though still full bodied, bright hops with spruce resin and medium bitter finish. Last hints of orange rind at the end.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle @ the Brauhaus. Pours quite clear, amber and with a decent head. The nose has oranges, orange blossom and grapefruit. The taste is bitter grapefruit. The palate is a little bit too sharp overall for me, so lacks some drinkability. Overall, decent but could be more balanced.

Bottle at home ... light hazy amber ... thin white head ... soft orange peach sweet hop nose ... mellow toffee malts ... creamy citrus front ...odd hop but not too shabby.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled at the brewpub. Cloudy deep golden, rich head. Oily bergamotte and citrus aroma. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Lots of fresh citrus, long citric bitterness. Intensely hoppy, yet balanced.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at the Kernel Brewery, Bermondsey, London, 03.12.11 Pours hazy gold/range, really quite citrussy in the mouth. The finish is dry and there are elements of tropical fruit in here, with the mango furniture polish element and pineapples starting to show. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.6

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33 cl, Westholme Stores. Pours clear amber with a nice creamy off white head leaving laces. Aroma is malty, piny, grapefruit, fruity, bready and a bit sweet. Flavor is dry, bitter, sharp metallic bitter, pungent, fruity and just too much. I like hoppy, but this one is way too harsh. Finishes bitter and dry.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Cafe Oto. Looks like most Kernel IPAs, cloudy orange amber with white fluffy head. Aroma is stinky, very cat pee, lots of pine, quite full on. Taste is less pronounced, not so bitter, quite mellow. Bit of grapefruit and a subtle bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Gets better as it warms up - not convinced Stella is a great ipa hop though. I was hoping for a punch in the face to be honest
