Bottled at the brewpub. Cloudy deep golden, rich head. Oily bergamotte and citrus aroma. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Lots of fresh citrus, long citric bitterness. Intensely hoppy, yet balanced.

Bottle at home ... light hazy amber ... thin white head ... soft orange peach sweet hop nose ... mellow toffee malts ... creamy citrus front ...odd hop but not too shabby.

33cl bittle from Sourced market St Pancras. Left it to settle for a few days. Clearish orange gold. Tangerine and pineapple aroma. Some peanut bizarrely. Enormously likeable. Great fruit and this nutty quality is good.

Slight haze on this amber beer, nice slightly off white head. Light semi dry palate. Tangy fruits. Tart orange, mango and pineapple. Bitterness ramps up a little towards the semi dry finish and lingers afterwards. Nice contrast of bitter orange and sweet pineapple cubes with mango doing the refereeing!

Lovely crisp zesty aroma. Full body, but crispened with gentle carbonation, and biting citrussy bitterness. Taste also zesty. Another vey solid IPA from Kernel.

Leighton (7183) - London, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2011
Bottle at the Second East Croydon Beer Tasting, thanks to Mr. Dawg. Pours cloudy gold with a white foam. Nose holds a bit of pine and some grass. Great balance to the flavor, more grass and pine, mild tangy citrus, faint wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. A touch thinner than other Kernel IPAs, but still quite good. Some more tangy citrus to the finish, more pine, slight resin, toasty grass. Nice.

Bottle at the Kernel Brewery, Bermondsey, London, 03.12.11 Pours hazy gold/range, really quite citrussy in the mouth. The finish is dry and there are elements of tropical fruit in here, with the mango furniture polish element and pineapples starting to show. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.6
