19th April 2011
On tap at the Jolly Butchers 2nd Anniversary celebrations. Cloudy amber beer with a little white head. Light semi dry palate. A bit softer than most Kernel bottle beers. Nice fresh Colombus hops - mostly grapefruit but with a little orange. Semi dry finish with a medium bitter aftertaste. Decent fresh hoppy beer!

Cask (handpump) at Jolly Butchers 1st Birthday Party on 19th April 2011. Cloudy Hazy. Very fruity, perfumed, slightly estery aroma - sweet tangerine prominent. Just a slight whiff of sulphur. Strong citric hop flavour - orange zest and marmalade, with touches of grapefruit, in evidence. Slightly sweet with moderate bitterness. Smooth and mellow without becoming flabby. I thought it could use just a touch more bitter bite though.
