Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of matl and caramel as well as lighter notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. According to Angelo different from the Redemption version. Pours a cloudy nutty brown with a lacing off-white head - quite lively. Hard roast aroma. Medium body, lively carbonation, hard roast and licorice with a massive malt astringency. Nice sessionable Porter. 150211

So this is a seperate beer is it? Really? Ok I’ll bite. I thought it was a lot less fruity than the version I had on tap at BrewWharf. Also the malt was a noticebly more sourish. This was an okay beer but not as nice as the other one. I put the difference down to tap vs bottle. Silly me! Must dash - off to rate a beer called ’splitting hairs’ - Cheers! :)

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of bakers cocoa, earthiness and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt and bakers cocoa with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.
