330 ml bottle. 2.5%. Bottled on 04/09/13. BB 04/09/14. From alesbymail.co.uk.br>
Slightly hazy yellow colour with a tiny white head.
Tartness, sulphites, sausage skin, mild mustard and sourness in the aroma. The flavour is very sour with citrus and apple tartness. Not bad.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
2.5% version from Grumpy Goat Reading. Iím not sure what I expected from this beer. Light yellow coloured with a small hazing and minimal head. Aroma of grapes, sourness, and elder flower. Flavour is like those sweets really lactic and sour. I guess itís just not my thing.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Lightly lacto lemonade character, quite a bit of burn for a non-Wakefield berliner. Modest sweetness. Not particularly drinkable for the style, flavor is pretty good but not great.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma and color reminds me of the cheap cider of my student days (Frosty Jackís specifically). Pale, vaguely cloudy appearance. A nice level of sour and nice on the palate, but a bit cloying. Nice but far from the best sour Iíve had, and not the quality Iíd expect from The Kernel.
