2.5% bottle from bottle shop in truro uk. Bottled Sep 2013 drank aug 2014. Pours light clear yellow. Looks like cider. Slight head fades. Nose barnyard and citrus and fruit. Quite sour, tart and sharp. Tastes acidic rather than a fruit sourness but I like it. Worry what it might do to my teeth if I drank lots of it. Tasty and refreshing. A very unusual beer compared to what I'm used to. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle from Les Vignerons (Bottled on 04-09-2013). Very pale canary, yellow, pretty clear, with a small, creamy but non persistent white head. Lots of bubbles streaming up. Subtle but powerful nose: all I can get are wet/old clean diapers, salami meat, some lactic presence, almost woody or leather like notes. Some fruitness in the background, mostly raspberries or sour black cherries. Pretty unique. Holy s*it, it is really sour! Like chewing on a lemon slice. Citric, lemony, sharp and pungent taste. Quite extreme, but at the same time very refreshing and thirst quenching. Extremely dry as well. There is a generic milky/youghurty like sensation in the aftertaste. Average to lively carbonation, light body, slightly creamy texture. My first ever berliner weisse so I didn’t really know what to expect, but I’m pleasently impressed. Nice one.

Bouteille (2,5%- 04/09/13). Kernel (merci Nico). Robe jaune très pale et limpide. Mousse blanche furtive. Nez de petit lait, très légères notes d’arachide. Attaque douce, insipide, puis belle acidité de pulpe de citron. Finale sèche et astringente. Corps léger, effervescence absente. Une bière "rince palais" qui trouve son utilité en dégustation.

This is what I call a real sour one. Nice aromas of citrus fruits, some strawberries and pineapple. Easy going and refreshing with high drinkability. Good one.

Bottle from my Summer Santa - many thanks! The Berliner Weisse pours out in a cloudy white-yellow colour with almost no head and thin body. Aroma of acid and sour berries. Taste of unripe gooseberries, green berries, acid, green nuts and wheat. Sour finish. Enjoyed it a lot - the acidity was well-balanced. refreshing, quaffable. The best Berliner Weisse I had so far.

w aromacie bezkompromisowe, sporo kwasku, pełnia trudna do opisania, coś pomiędzy nadgnitymi owocami, cytryną i winogronami białymi.

Bottle into a Leffe glass. Pale golden with no head and slight fizz. Light sour wheat aroma. Sour, quite lambic like with a lightly malty base behind it. Tastes better than it looks. Quite reasonable really, a nice change.
