From a bottle. Very light color; nearly clear. Simple and sharp sour bite with yeast, and not much else to speak of. Seems a little thin, but the flavor is sharp and good; then gone.

[6936-20141129] Bottle. Mild earthy beans aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Mineral and light earthy semi-dry white wine flavour with some lemon notes. Medium body is a little sour. Great balance. (7/3/8/3/16) 3.7

33cl bottle from Utobeer, London. It pours a light straw colour with a small white head that dissolves quickly. Aroma is tasrt and citrusy with notes of lemon juice, hay, grains and grass. Taste is acidic with citrusy notes, grains and grass. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, ok tasty sour

Little hazy pale milky yellowish beer, small irregular white rim of bubbles, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, bit dirty, urine touch, pretty weird. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour, funky, bit watery, unpleasant, bit metallic. Aftertaste: bile (yes, vomit), unpleasant sourness, dirty. Highly unpleasant experience.

(Rating #5987)

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy golden body produces mild lace which recedes quickly. Lactic Greek yogurt aroma blends with the citric Berliner base for a nicely refreshing, flavorful, simple flavor profile. Low carb, which is off for the style but preferable to me. I could drink a ton of this.

Only oddity: this smells a bit like peanut butter (wtf?!) at times, and I'm positive it isn't the glass or anything else invasive. I don't mind it at all, just strikes me as odd. Won't keep me from drinking a crapload of these :)

330ml bottle from the brewery. Pours clear gold with no head. Sugary lemon juice aroma. Taste continues, with funk, sour apple laces and sherbet. Nice.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Almost clear golden, citrus, thick creamy white head. Nose is thick citrus acitidy, clean lemon, almost funk, lots of bottled lemon juice. Taste is heavy on those small bottles of lemon juice, lemon acid, concentrade, light vinegar, sour, zest,.. lightly puckering, very straightforward. Crazily easy to drink. Very simple but so-ooo good. This beat the fruited varieties I have had hands down.

Tap @ Moeder Lambic. Clear golden pour with some tiny lacings. Tart, crisp, vinegar, some slight off notes of urine.
