3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to PaulUnwin for sharing this one from across the pond. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is citrus, oak, white wine, tartness, and some prickly citrus mellowed by oaky white wine. Flavor is similar: big white wine presence but some nice citrusy tartness, too. Light to medium in body and very nice overall.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the brewery. Pours a very hazy lemony orange with no head. Looks quite carbonated in the glass but isn’t over the top and has a nice spritz to it instead. Nose is fairly straight forward but appealing - vinous, lemon tart, grass, light funk, touch of hay. Taste really comes across as not overly complex but done superbly. Some vinous and grape like notes mix with lemon, tart, light funk and some vinegar undertones. Simple but effective. Drinkability is out of this world. Goddamn, I have literally gulped half the bottle and it’s been open 30 seconds. Very clean although it does leave a slight buttery finish on the palate which I don’t mind at all. Really good stuff
