Keg at Euston Tap, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Lovely fresh hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, tropical fruit, orange, grapefruit, slightly bitter. So easy to drink.

330ml bottle from BrewDog. Hazy orange brown colour, not much head. Resin hop aroma. Boiled fruit sweet & hop flavour. Sharp with sweet aftertaste. Had better from Kernel.

At Kernel with Ian. Jan 2012. Good dry malt with juicy sweet malt. Good mix and balance. Flavoursome and attractive. Damn fine drinking beer.

On draft at Craft Beer Co. Another absolute killer from The Kernel. This beer absolutely nailed the style, managing to be fulsome and earthy while also elegant and refreshing. Tropical fruits in the nose suggest a tilt more towards the IPA end of the spectrum, but the fine balanced flavors reveal some dry tea leaves, citrus rind, and scattered biscuit malts. Excellent.

Bottle. Hazy gold (as usual) with a thin foam. Aromas are pineapple and gooseberry with hints of melon. Woody with light, pithy, peppery grapefruit. Bready yeast with low pine and Sonera base caramel. Flavours are spiced oranges with pineapple and bitter grapefruit. Resinous green hops with pepper and a dry, bitter finish. Good (as usual).

Aroma: Peach, grapefruit and dusty lemon notes.
Appearance: Murky orange body with a thin white head. Slight lacing.
Taste: Light, bitter lemon, lime and grapefruit flavours. Perhaps lacking in malt character. Long, bitter finish.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Foamy mouthfeel.
Overall: This 4.9% ABV version is very light and refreshing.
