3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle from Sourced, St. Pancras Station. Hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Big grapefruit and piney hop aromas. Big bitterness on the taste, and a little light sweet following. Medium bodied, creamy texture, gentle carbonation. Bitter finish, just a touch too bitter for the strength for me. Good beer though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the Kernel. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is orange sherbet, tangerine, hay and faint barnyard. The taste is crisp, grassy bitterness, earthy, toast, zesty grapefruit, orange, lemon rind and minerals with a bitter, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A decent APA, but not Kernels best.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours a surprisingly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a fairly large, frothy white head. The aroma holds lots of grapefruit and other pithy citrus. Light sweet flavor with dried citrus, lemon rind, grapefruit, grass, dry pale malts, sandy hay. Light bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Mostly clean to finish with slight piney resins and mellow grassy bitterness, some dry and somewhat bready pale malts, further rindy citrus and touches of cat pee. Pretty solid APA.
