maneliquor (2995) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 20, 2013
Bottle from the brewery. Pours hazy dull orange with a big, billowing white head leaving soapy lacing. Nose is a sweet and appealing fruit hit - tangerine, peach, passionfruit. There is a hint of lemon juice and white pepper. Nice. Taste is a mix of light tropical fruits and heavy stone fruits - passionfruit is there but is covered by heavy peach and apricot notes. Works well. Drinkability is great. Slightly sweet with a light bitterness running through. Solid Pale as Kernelís always are

Bottle @ home thanks to jmgreenuk. Clear yellow to light orange color, medium sized off - white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is lovely hoppy, fruity and a slight malty touch. Taste lightly malts, hops, light to moderately grapefruit, lightly tropical fruits, moderately bitter. Lovely balanced, full flavoured, easy to drink beer. Love it!

harrisoni (13214) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2013
Bottle from the brewery drunk at home. 5.6% version. Hazy amber lasting white head. It has a subtle grapefruit flavour. Some bitterness on the finish with a lasting yellow grapefruit flavour that is really quite biting on the finish. As Iíve said before, the pale ales are consistently better since they moved breweries. Love the finish on this.

Bottle, 5.6% abv. Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity with red fruits, mango, grapefruit and some malts. Taste is sweet with some red fruits, biscuit, mango and a medium bitterness. Medium body and soft carbo. Nice, but Iíve had better tasting pale ales from the Kernel.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy, green tinged, yellow. Thin, white head. Aroma is pine resin, some grassiness, sawdust maybe? Tastes toffee sweet, initially, followed by a biscuit dry finish.
