Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Hazy golden, small white head. Nose is typical mix of Kernel yeast UA hops, pine resin, zest, touch banana, some sugar, faint cany,… Body is Kernel yeast,… Touch too yeasty, a touch too sweet but good hop profile & quite nice overall.

Bottle in the train, shared by the one and only Benzai. Pours a hazy orange beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is massive citra, slightly herbal, vegetal. Flavour is bitter, fruity with hints of juicy citrus fruits. Highly carbonated, bitter long aftertaste. Very nice.

Bottled Sep 2014 at 5.3%. Orange, still, slight haze, small white head, full lacing. Aroma is very orangey, caramel, sherbet. Body is medium, soft carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is light grassy hop, dry, lemonade, a bit watery but extremely drinkable. Very nice aroma.

Simple elegant design - very informative, as the list of hops gives a fair prediction of what to expect. Pours a bit cloudy light orange. Nice thick foam cap. Well balanced fresh aroma. Cascade, chinook and citra are all present, but not dominating - very nice combo. Traces of mango. Body is just enough to carry the bitter taste. Close to a perfect beer.

Tap at CBC 2014. Golden in the glass, nice head. Mild hoppy aroma. Starts mild hoppy, fine fruity, hints of lemon, modest sourish. More and more dry-malty, less hoppy. Okay.

Bottle from The Kernel. Colour is pale amber, almost clear, medium foam head. Nose is very citrousy and sherberty, lemon and mainly grapefruit, some vague tropical fruit, standard Kernel pale biscuit and cereal malt. Taste is a bit faded. Thought it would be fruitier but it’s more subtle. Grapefruit and bit of lemon, soft citrous with a bit of pine and flinty mineral.
