10th December 2011
Hazy tangerine coloured beer, good white head. Light palate. Dry and a little crispy. A little lacto cream in the even pale malt. A little fresh orange and grapefruit, the grapefruit providing bitterness. That typical Galaxy earthy mango is here but very subtle. Fairly bitter dry finish with mild minerals. Real legs in the bitterness that reach long in to the aftertaste.

Leighton (9830) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours hazy, dull gold with a foamy, white head. Woody and pithy hops in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some dry grass, wood, pithy citrus, toast. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. The bitterness in the finish is a touch harsh. There’s a bit of astringency to the wood and grass that really lingers. It’s a relatively small quibble, though, and overall the beer is very good.

Bottle. Golden with a thin bubbly foam. Aromas are toffee malt with tinned nectarine, grapefruit and pineapple. Herbal and floral green pine with woody notes. Flavours are sweet oranges and pineapple with nutty notes and grapefruit and herbal pine bitterness. Spritzy on the palate. A great fruity, hoppy brew.

Scopey (5506) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2011
Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours hazy orange, with a massive off-white head. The nose is tangerine, grapefruit, leather, urine and some herbal notes. The taste is pine, resin, leather, grapefruit, tangerine, herbal, spice and earth, with a dry-citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Some interesting flavours coming through on this one.
