Very hazy orange amber beer, tiny white head. Typical (and good) Kernel crisp and dry palate. Lovely fresh orange and tangerine bitterness. A little marmalade. Turns a little sweeter before the dry crisp finish. Simple stuff but done very well indeed.

Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Pours hazy deep golden with a 1 inch spongy off-white head. Aroma of piney and fruity hops. Taste is good malty, moderate sweet with a good bitterness to balance it off. More fruity and fresh hops, lively carbonation lets the hops shine thru the malty sweetness. Here is lemons and oranges, pinecones together with good caramel malts, some herbal notes as well. Lingering bitter aftertaste with some spice and pepper at the finish. Lovely beer.

Bottle at Mes Tasting. Cloudy, golden-brown pour with a slight film. Pine and grapefruit in the nose with rich malts. Quite sweet and quite bitter. Orange, grapefruit, heavy resin, rich bread, light honey and caramel. Medium to full in body with average carbonation and a bit oily. Warming finish, sticky with hops, some honey and brown sugar. Excellent stuff.
