Bottle. Hazy gold with a large foam. Aromas are dusty yeast with light mixed tropical fruit and mushroom. Earthy and yeasty with woody notes. Flavours are sweet tropical fruit with earthy, woody notes and yeast. Maybe past its best condition.

Bottle (330 ml). Bottled on 12/04/2014. Murky orange with a medium white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is of pine, grapefruit, malt and mineral notes. Taste is slightly/moderately bitter with grapefruit, pine, good malt backbone and light peppery finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Good balance and amazing drinkability. Not stellar, but it’s doing exactly what a Pale Ale should achieve. Really quenching.

JulienHuxley (2854) - Hilversum, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2014
Bottle from the bierkoning. Hazy murky gold pour with lacy white head. Aroma is nice and citrusy, tons of grapefruit, light lemon, mango, pine. Taste is bitter, really potent hop juice, just the way I like it, lots of tropical fruits but a good dose of bitter pine resin as well to give some "body" to the hop flavor. Palate is med bodied with light-med carbonation. Delicious.

Pours an orange unclear beer with a good white head. Beautiful as always. Smells tropical fruits. Tastes tropical fruits, bit creamy and good bitter as always. Average carbo, thin body and a dry texture. Looks alot like the other pale ales but just as delicious as the others.
