Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Kernel-cloudy orange with a slim fine head. Nose blackcurrant, guava and mandarin with a sprinkle of palma violet. Good soapy flowers flavour poured with Rubicon; Umbongo, lavender, perfumed tropical notes with strawberry chew. Husk and bite to finish. Standard Kernel deliciousness.

Bottle from either City Beverage or Sourced Market, St Pancras. Hazy gold orange with lasting beige thin head. Lovely Chinook grapefruit aroma. Good in mouth lovely mouthfeel. Now that is a very good APA. Not overly bitter on finish. Quite lovely.

Bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. It pours hazy orange with a medium white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, mango, earth, sherbet and resin. The taste is crisp, orange, tangerine, mango, earth, pine, grassy bitterness and resin with a lingering dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bold and flavoursome APA. Really rather delicious. Good work Kernel.

Clear vibrant haze orange body, white fading to filmy ringed head. Hoppy cereal nose, revea/ling cheap pineappley resin. Saucey mango. Sweet drainpipe grapefruit daiquiri middle, taught carbonation and boxy malt framing. Flannel finish, thick with malt and a wink of bitterness initially winds up with a cobbly hop grit. Really good but MOR from The Kernel.
