Epic collab between London's greatest bottle shop and it's premier brewer. Chinook and Simcoe with a rye malt backbone. Incredibly drinkable with a finely balanced bitterness at the end. Here's to the next 20 years. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at StormBird. Pale orange colour with pleasing light citrus aroma. Intense bitterness from the Simcoe. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at CBC 2012. Light golden in the glass, nice head. Fruity aroma like lemon. Starts fine fruity-hoppy with notes of lemon, finish more grasy-hoppy, well balanced and quite drinkable. A good one!

Bottle 5.1% courtesy of mr_h. Cloudy amber brown colour, reasonable head, lot of sediment. Big hoppy pine aroma & flavour. Smooth with sweet hoppy aftertaste. Another winner from The Kernel.

Bottle 5.1%. Hazy blond colour. Aroma is hoppy and fruity - passionfruit and pink grapefruit. The flavour is similar with the fruitiness giving initial sweetness then the strong hop gives a long bitter finish. The balance feels good one this one.

August 25, 2012 - Draught at The Kernel (Bermondsey). Orange-gold with a very attractive large frothy white head, nice lacing. Aroma - so juicy and pungent smelling, just a little alcohol - nicely balanced, my mouth watered ("it good!"). Taste follows - citrus, light pine, floral - lovely. Average body, decent airy carbonation, medium-long juicy/grapefruit finish ... as always with the Kernel brews, simple, straightforward, rock-solidly made. I had two more.

50cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a cloudy orangey-brown with a nice sized head. The nose has grapefruit and barley water. The taste has oranges leading into grapefruit and then grapefruit pith. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry bitter finish. Overall, good but a little too bitter to be balanced.
