Pours clear golden with very good white head that lasts. Looks to have some suspended sediment, not as clear as other kernels. Smell is mostly citrus and zesty hops. Good carbonation. Not as hoppy as some. A little on the bland side

500ml bottle at home in Richmond as ’The Kernel Pale Ale Cascade Citra’, 5.3%, 5 weeks old. Hazy orange, lightly sparkling, small dense off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is straw, lemonade, some seawater, mixed fruits. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, a bit foamy. Taste is dry straw up front, white pepper and pine, cool mint with a crisp minerally finish. Clean and hoppy stuff. Moreish. Just lacking a bit of the usual Kernel oomph.

Drucken på pub i London. Helt ok, men inte mer än så. Hade förväntat mig mer, men färskheten på denna är oklar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
