Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks rayaron. Hazy golden. Lovely hoppy aroma full of tropical fruits and citrus, a bit "green". Flavor is quite dry with a light sweetish note, fruity hops and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Good.

Barwa bardzo ładna złota opalizujące, ale to może dlatego że niezbyt ostrożnie nalałem. Piana skromna, pozostawiająca zadowalający lacing. Aromat zwalający z nóg, lekko słodowy ciasteczkowy no i oczywiście cytrusy, skórka grejpfrutowa. W ustach jest wytrawnie, średnie wysycenie, goryczka raczej niska jako kontra dla niewielkiej słodowości. Rześkie i bardzo pijalne.

Slightly hazy amber, small white head that dissipates quickly. Citric and earthy aroma. Flavours of grapefruit, pine, mandarin, slightly earthy. Medium bodied, slightly oily, fairly light carbonation. Another excellent pale ale from The Kernel.

Bottle shared with Sarah at home picked up at the brewery. Wonderful aroma bursts from the glass, lovely bouquet of tropical fruit, peach melba, lychee, orange. Classic kernel appearance, golden orange with a light hazed and a lasting thin white head. Flavour is composed of clean base malt with light wheraty grainyness. Hops are grassy, lemon rind, tropical fruits, pineapple. Bitterness is slightly rough round the edges with a bit of hop leaf and grassyness. Palate is medium bodies, grainy and moderate carbonation. Flavour is not quite as good as the aroma would have you believe but overall very pleasing.

50cl bottle Coppers 8til8 Newcastle. Gorgeous grapefruit aroma, equally well flavoured with the same & a great background biscuit note. Very smooth and rounded, subtle and moreish. Some sherbert, grass and blackcurrant in the finish, which is lingering and nigh on perfect. Superb yet again.

Bottle at home watching England lose to Uruguay, 19th June 14. Lovely pale ale and so easy to drink. Hops shine, and a delicate malt balance makes this delicious

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. No visible carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of mango, pineapple and white bread. Flavour of lime, grapefruit and biscuit. Medium body with an oily texture. Faint carbonation prickle. Cask-like quality. Soft, fruity and incredibly moreish - a little more fizz would be nice. In my opinion, no brewery showcases hops as successfully as The Kernel.

Bottle, bottled on 12/5 2014. Hazy orange with a small white head. Fresh hoppy nose. Oranges, pine, tropical fruit cocktail peach pineapple lychee, light biscuit. Medium body, oily texture, soft/medium carbonation, medium sweet and light/medium bitter. Light dry finish with long lasting tropical fruity hop notes. Man, this is so nice and easy to drink.

Bottle from the brewery. 5.4%. Murky, orangey yellow. Film of white head, with a halo of bubbles. Slightly dank, citrus hop. Pink grapefruit. Lovely, sweet biscuit, malt in the background. Taste is moderately bitter. A little sweetness on the lips. Soft carbonation matches a light oiliness well. Finish is long, rising, pithy bitter.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden-tinted yellow with a small white head. Aroma reveals the citra hops upfront, with notes of pine and stone fruits. Flavour is dry and fruity, with notes of peach and pineapple, along with subverted pine and lingering fruity notes. A great rendition of this pale ale. Very good.
