Keg at the Old Fountain - London. Pours cloudy gold with a tight, creamy white head. Smells beautiful, lots of sweaty hops, juicy citrus, grapefrut and tangerine, tropical fruits, peach. Light to medium sweet flavor with perfect offseting bitterness, some lightly bready pale malts, lightly tangy tanerine, some pithy grapefruit, ripe orange, hints of pine. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Juicy and resinous to finish with slight mineral dryness, some sticky pine and semi-ripe citrus, a bit of melon. Just completely drinkable; indeed, that may be a complaint, as I drank this beer far too quickly - I just couldn’t help it. Wonderful, wonderful.

50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBESG 2013. Thx! to chriso & Boudicca. Hazy golden, creamy white bubbles. Nose is huge grapefruit, wonderfully hoppy, creamy, lots of flowers, touch sugar,… Taste is bitter citrus, creamy, sweet, clear yeast as is the habit with Kernel for these kinds of beers, some bitter herbs, lemon peel, sweet yeast. Fuller, clear yeast Kernel body. Bottled on 03/06/2013 so reasonably fresh.

Bottle from The Beerhive. 5.1 %. Another winning PA from Kernel. Muddy orange with large but quickly dissipating head. Mango and tangerine on the nose and a medium oily body with soft carb. Balanced zestiness and funkiness, nice sour edge on the end. i will bathe in kernel one day.

330ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy orange amber brown, not much head. Hop grapefruit & mango aroma. Fruity hop flavour, not as intense as most Kernel beers, this one is smoother and sweeter.

Keg at kernel. Cloudy staw colour with thin head. Smells great - lots of hops and tropical fruit. Quite light and foamy. Fairly subtle flavours of sweet fruit followed by a good grapefruit bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled @ RBESG 2013 Grand Tasting. Hazy orange color, short head. Sweet hoppy aroma, pineapple, tropical fruit, hint of biscuit. Cookie sweetness in taste, fruity bitterness. Galaxy and Citra work nice together I think.

Keg at the Old Fountain. Very hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is minerally crisp and semi dry. Very nice rich orange peel hops, little fresh orange and traces of peach, lemon and marmalade. Finishes crisp and adds mild tropical fruits. Medium bitter linger. Great PA.

Bottle at Euston Tap. It pours cloudy amber with small bubbly white head. The nose is juicy, pine, tangerine, mango, marmalade, earth and some urine . The taste is smooth, orange, sweet tangerine, grapefruit, bitter pine, light resin, hay and earth with a very dry-bitter finish. Long lingering bitterness. Medium body and fine carbonation. Mellow, yet bitter. Readily and all to easily consumable. Tasty stuff.
