2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
5.3% ABV, 330ml Bottle: taken inside Shrewsbury Market Hall at a French Crepe outlet on 19th Oct 2013.
Pours a slightly hazy orange/yellow with a thin white covering.
As the name suggests, this is dominated by citrus notes throughout. Delicate but persistent in nature within both the aroma and taste. Mild malts below the surface give the beer a more balanced feel after the initial grapefruit and lemon esters hit.
Still not sure why so many people love this breweries beers: this was OK, nothing more.
