Bottle at home, from the brewery, 19/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a good sized off white head that thinsand retains as swirl come edgeing. Nose is bitter orange, light pine, bread dough, citric tinged straw, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, light mango, citric sherbet, earthy hops, sweet tinge, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, subtle hop bitterness in the close. Decent easy drinking APA but not from the top draw of the Kernel cabinet!

Tap at CBC Brixton. No need to day much here. Just a classy citrus driven drop as you would expect from these guys. Tasty as usual

CraftBeerNick (866) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2013
Bottle at Intercontinental, Westminster, 23rd October 13. Had this after another Kernel Pale, good citrus notes and aroma, taste is a dumbed down version of the IPA. Good and easy drinking

BlackHaddock (3657) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2013
5.3% ABV, 330ml Bottle: taken inside Shrewsbury Market Hall at a French Crepe outlet on 19th Oct 2013. Pours a slightly hazy orange/yellow with a thin white covering. As the name suggests, this is dominated by citrus notes throughout. Delicate but persistent in nature within both the aroma and taste. Mild malts below the surface give the beer a more balanced feel after the initial grapefruit and lemon esters hit. Still not sure why so many people love this breweries beers: this was OK, nothing more.

Scopey (6749) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2013
Tap at Kernel. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is pine, toast, earth, orange, grapefruit and passion fruit. The taste is crisp, orange, grapefruit, pine, touch of pepper, soap, good bitterness, resin and grass with a bitter, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Very drinkable stuff.
