Light haze on this gold - amber beer. Tidy off white head. Palate is light, crispy and semi dry. Lovely clean fresh hops. Bitter floral notes. Mild skunk. Marmalade orange and a little mango. Tagerine pith. Mint. Trace of lemon. All on fresh clean malt. Semi dry finish with a little fresh hop sting. Delicious!

Bottle from Chester Beer and Wine, Hoole. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a one finger thick white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, orange zest and grapefruit. Taste is mango, orange, grapefruity herbal hops with a fruity dry finish. Nicely carbonated and silky mouthfeel. Awesome as always, and well appreciated after three weeks of non-stop work!

DruncanVeasey (7246) - NUNEATON, Top 22, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2013
500ml bottle- all of it, bits included. Beautiful fresh squeezed grapefruit, pine sap, intense flowers, almost patchouli nose. Lean and punishing with an iron-like richness; soap and flowers, G+T dryness, husk, greenery. Fairly massive bitterness subsiding into biscuit crumbs and a dab of honey. Finely misted orange with a low white head. Almost too much.

Leighton (11299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2013
Bottle at home in London. Pours mostly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a strong, frothy white foam head. Beautiful aroma, some lightly toasted sugars, juicy orange, grapefruit, pear. Light to medium sweet flavor, some semi-dry berries, rich and somewhat bitter citrus fruits, mild honey and caramel, some dry wood, dry grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, faintly resinous finish, dry orange, lemon rind, lightly toasted pale malts. Typically great Kernel APA.

Bottled 14/12/12, 6 weeks old. Hazy, golden brown pour, small head, in the nose citrus hops, in the mouth they come to life more, orange peel, grapefruit, mango. Plenty of fruitiness. some caramel sweetness, Quite well balanced ale with a bit more emphasis on the hops and with a crisp bittersweet finish. Nce

Bottle, Spring 2013 from Beer Ritz, Leeds. Slightly hazy golden pour, crowned with a bubbly white head. Enticing nose containing some lovely fruit. Flavour was piney hop, citrus and a little sweet malt. Dried out towards the finish. All told, a cracking APA that is oh so drinkable.
