50cl bottle from beermerchants. Pours a slightly darker orange than usual. Peach and light grapefruit aroma, dry palate, but it’s smooth and so full of flavour. Faintly woody notes late on in the finish. Lovely carbonation, just a hint of yeast early on, which disappears quickly. Excellent.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mango, peachy and light grapefruity. Smooth fruity, clementines, peaches and mango. Lingering fruity, crisp, light yeasty note. Bitter yet sweet fruity impression.

330ml bottle lugged back from England. Clear orange-gold with a large fizzy-foamy fairly long-lasting off-white head. Smells like citrus heaven - citrus zest and ripe pink grapefruit - so good. Taste - wow, so much spicy citrus, yet full of tropical fruit maltiness, lots of almost marigold floral bitterness and some alcohol too - and this bottle has been in my fridge for almost 3 months. Average body, solid carbonation, only a medium-long bitter dry zesty ctirus finish, a little pithy linger on the palate. As almost always, superb from Kernel.

33 cl bottle Bottled on 18.07.2013. BBE 18.11.2013.
Pours hazy amber color with a medium sized head. Quite appealing fruity aroma, tropical fruits mostly, some floral hops and caramel malts. Flavor has also sweet exotic fruits, caramel makes it even sweeter, grassy hops balance it a bit, mild goose berries on the aftertaste. Medium carbonation, sweet fruity palate, lingering grapy finish. Maybe a tad too sweet but still very tasty.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a dark orange copper colour with a thick lacy head. Aroma of resin, herbs, pineapple and orange zest. Flavour of strong herbal hops, strong resin, orange zest, ficus jam, floral notes and a good caramel malt body. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes dry, fruity and strong on lingering bitterness. Great.

Hazy amber beer, little off white head. Palate is smooth with mild fine carbonation. Semi dry. Light malt. Good marmalade, little fresher orange. A bare whisper of Nelson grape. Finishes soft. This is a nice beer but unusually for Kernel doesn’t show the hops off at their best. Strong bitter linger.
