10th December 2012
Lightly hazy gold beer, little white head. Smooth palate with modest fine carbonation, semi dry. Fresh malt base, touch of cream. Nice hops - mildly tangy mango and lime with a little pine and a spot of grapefruit pith. Finishes smooth and dry with a little grass and light floral flavours. Another belter of a PA from the mighty Kernel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle bought at brewery and drunk at home watching Norwich vs Sunderland. Hazy dirty gold colour with lasting off white head. Light tropical fruit flavour, apricot builds later. OK in mouth. Some earthyness. Decent fruity pale ale. The pale ales seem to be fuller in the mouth since the move to the new brewery. Some zingy bitterness on finish. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle. Yellow gold fully clouded despite the steadiness of my hand. Soapy, stewed, late-harvested left-to-dry-naturally dishcloth hops and lime pith nose. Earthy monkey nut malt draped with garlands of dried crumbling flowers. Beautiful.
