330 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy bright yellow colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of fresh floral hops, grass, grapefruit and mango. Flavour of strong fresh floral hops, mango, pineapple, hay, yeast and some biscuit. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes lingering bitter and tangy with grapefruity notes. Slightly disturbing yeastiness, but other than that a solid APA.

Bottle from Oddbins, London Bridge, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus fruit, malty, quite bitter and slightly dry. Decent pale ale from Kernel.

Bottle @ Christers. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, light bread, grass, herbs, melon. Flavor is malt, bread, grass, herbal hops, little sweet fruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 130513

Bottled 08/05/13. A copper coloured beer with a little white head. A lovely fruity citrussy aroma where the citrus fruits develop into the mouth. High bitterness although there is a background woodiness. Tasty for sure but the nose is better.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. From Kris Wines, London. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and rather hoppy - grass and flowers. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 130513

Bottle, 5.5%. Slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hop, citrus, earthy and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, grapefruit, little dry, hop, little earthy, little sweet, grass and medium bitter.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are mango, hops, grain, malt, pine, citrus and has a pleasant bitter finish. Easy drinkable.

(Draught at Kernel Brewery, Bermondsey, London, 27 Apr 2013) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, peaches, grass, bread and pineapple. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grass, pineapple, passion fruit, bready malt and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a very fresh hop character. Nice one.

Bottle. Hazy golden beer with a small head and some lacing. Aroma is of pine resin and pineapple. The taste is quite resiny with pineapple again and some grapefruit. Quite bitter. Soft with mild carbonation on the palate. Very good APA.

5.5% abv bottle, pours hazy orange, brown. Aroma nowhere near as pungent as some Kernel beers, more nuanced citrus hoppy base, with earthy dryness and a bitter finish. Kernel are always enjoyable.
