This is wrong. I'm in Brussels drinking British beer. Tap at Chez Moeder Fontainas. Pours orange Gil's with a big clingy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine and pine. Nice balance of easy drinking pale malt and grapefruit and pine hop. Resinous, tongue coating finish. Bitterness is sufficient, but not overpowering. If I were served this blind, I'd guess it was from Tree House.

Tap @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Easy drinkable and refreshing pale ale. Nose of grapefruit with bitter finish.

330ml bottle form Drinkmonger. Pours hazy orange/yellow, thin white head. Big tropical fruit aromas, like nothing I’ve had for a while. BOOM! Back on form Kernel hoppiness. Taste follows through. Lovely.

Bottle at home in Garden, with the Beast, 19th April 14. Nice aroma, good and drinkable pale ale, the Mosaic IPA is much better though

33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy golden color with a medium sized head. Aroma has orange zest, hops, some floral notes, mandarin and some lemon. Flavor of citric fruits, hops, gooseberries and some hay. Lingering grapefruit finish. Dry bitter palate, strong carbonation. Extremely refreshing, well balanced and quite tasty.

Tap at CBC Brixton. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Lovely, herby, aroma with grass, lemon, a little candy, hint of piss. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Mild funky veg, lemon, hint of caramel, pine, wood sap, hint if pastry, grass, nettle... Lovely balance, very drinkable. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours the expected pale haze, thin white head, quite a few large bubbles in there. Aroma is tropical hops, faint hint of cheese. This has a medium body and a low carbonation, fairly creamy. The mosaic hops shine through, deep resinous pine, good mix of citrus and tropical fruits, with a nice medium bitterness. This after-taste remains juicy, with a lingering soapy bitterness. Another top Kernel offering.

Bottle (500 ml). Bottled 19-03-2014, so two weeks old. Hazy yellow/golden with a medium white head and heavy lacing. Aroma of juicy and dank resinous hops, burst of citrus and light floral notes. Taste is slightly bitter with intense dank and juicy resinous hops, citrus, good malt backbone and floral notes. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Dry finish. Another outstanding Pale Ale from The Kernel. So juicy and tasty. A Mosaïc soup. Just the right amount of bitterness. Extreme drinkability and super refreshing. Wow!

Soft greyed/cloudy orange with a decent contrast of white head. Soft milky/cheesy lychee. Clean and gummy, pine and cloudy lemonade bitterness. Fairly clean and breezy for a Kernel, nothing over the top and a bit chewy. The bottle probably spent a bit of time not totally upright in my bag mind...

Bottle, Beets, Edinburgh

Zesty, zinging citrus fruits to the max, this one turns it up to 12. A hint of furniture polish right at the very end which levels things out nicely. Good beer.
