Hazy golden amber, lightly carbonated with very low foam. Fresh clean grassy smell. Full of Chinook specialness. Three very distinct sensations; balanced earthy citrus taste, then a oddly spring onion hit followed by a bitterness that bites your cheeks. Love this stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2013 Bottle from Craft Beer Co. Pours bright orange with a small, dense white head. Nice lacing. Mmmmm smells pretty tasty. Citrus bomb with some heavy handed mango notes. Hint of grapefruit in there to. Taste is heavy grapefruit and citric hoppage with light underlying tropical fruit notes. Very sweet fruit driven but not overly sweet or cloying. Light bitterness and super clean and sessionable. My god this is a fucking good beer

Where to begin? 500ml bottle, dregs and all. Fully clouded orange amber with a fine lacy head. Stunning aroma showcasing the full beauty of The Hop; guava, papaya, dried flowers, spliff, blackcurrant, pissy rabbit fur. Wonderful stewed flavour bristling with celery, fine-haired greenery, tropical explosions, seawater hints, blackcurrant and guava jams, crackers and cashew, licked soap, roses. Magnificent.

Almost clear gold beer, good off white head. Nose of hop skunk and hop fruit. Palate is light and a little soft, semi dry. Strewth! These Mosaic hops are fantastic! Light grass and skunk gives way to gorgeous hop fruits - passion fruit, pineapple and lime. Touches of pine and other generic tropical fruits. Minor grass and floral notes. Slightly skunky finish, semi dry. A great hop showcased by a world class brewer - what’s not to like?

Bottle, Craft, London. Orangey gold pour with a decent white head. Superb hop-laden nose with ganja and tropical fruit notes aplenty. Flavour was juicy fruit and a little malt with the hops singing like a celestial choir. Bitterness, Bob on. Moreish, oh yeah. Absolute stunner. Could drink this til’ the fecken cows come home.

Bottled. 04/04/13. A giner coloured beer with a white head and lace. Wow this is a good hop. Really fruity and orangey in aroma and flavour. Great balancing pale malts give body but no silly sweetness. Delicious aroma it really is. Top top stuff. Superbly brewed.

Bottle (500 ml). Bottled 19-03-2014, so two weeks old. Hazy yellow/golden with a medium white head and heavy lacing. Aroma of juicy and dank resinous hops, burst of citrus and light floral notes. Taste is slightly bitter with intense dank and juicy resinous hops, citrus, good malt backbone and floral notes. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Dry finish. Another outstanding Pale Ale from The Kernel. So juicy and tasty. A Mosaïc soup. Just the right amount of bitterness. Extreme drinkability and super refreshing. Wow!

This is wrong. I'm in Brussels drinking British beer. Tap at Chez Moeder Fontainas. Pours orange Gil's with a big clingy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine and pine. Nice balance of easy drinking pale malt and grapefruit and pine hop. Resinous, tongue coating finish. Bitterness is sufficient, but not overpowering. If I were served this blind, I'd guess it was from Tree House.

Keg at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Slightly hazy pale, packed with flavour, herbal punch. A hop showase, as usual cleverly made by Kernel.

Kev at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Lots of dank citrus in the aroma, light urine. Light to medium sweet, plenty of piss, wet grass, grapefruit, lime, orange. Light to medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, plenty of pine, ripe grapefruit, orange. Quite dank, and very tasty.
