50cl Bottle from deeblo, thanks Bruce! Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of nice tropical fruity hops, a little pale malts. Flavour is light sweet, crackers, crisp zesty tropical fruits, grapefruit, nice bitter hoppy finish. Light-bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Good.

Scopey (6865) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle from Beer Boutique, Putney. It pours clear golden, with a medium white head. The nose is orange, mango, sweet tangerine, tinned peach, icing sugar and metal, with a lingering herbal note (sage?). The taste is creamy, zesty citrus, tangerine, tinned peach, apricot, peppery spice, light herbal and some soapiness, with a very dry, citric finish. A solid APA, but the motueka doesn’t do anything for me....

Bottle from Kernel Brewery. Colour is soft golden amber, touch cloudy, big white head. Nose is strong citrous, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, piney. Taste is grapefruit, lemon citrous, touch grassy malt, pine and crisp bitterness. Has enough balance between softer fruit and piney bitter minerally notes.

Bottle at home. Slightly murky orange amber, thin bubbly white head. Lovely big fruit bowl NZ hop nose, mango, candied orange, definite floral vinous Motueka thing. Nice sweet juicy punchy fruit front, transitions to a flinty chalky dusty dryness. Soft floral bitter finish. A bit flat, seems to be a problem with a lot of beers from the new brewery. But still tasty.

Pours hazy amber with lime, nettles and passionfruit nose. Gentle carbonation, a bit flinty, mango and nz hop bitterness. Oh I do love motueka dry finish.
