Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Pours a murky orange beer with a thin off white head on top. Aroma is mostly lemon peel, cinnamon and caramel malts. Flavor is fairly fruity and sweet and it has an undercarbonated mouthfeel. Meh, did expect more from The Kernel..

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is creamy malt, grassy hop and citrus fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with a spicy pepper hop palate. Medium bodied, average carbonation and a thin texture. Highly drinkable like most beers from The Kernel.

Cloudy amber beer, looks well carbonated; flat white head; pine needle hop aroma, really inviting; taste is lime, lemon rind, some sharp grapefruit; piney hops; it does all this without being astringent; tasty pale ale
