Bottle from the brewery. Drank after a Partizan IPA so just waiting for my palate to acclimatise. Colour is soft hazy amber, big white bubbly foam head. Nose is soft citrous fruits, grapefruit, lemon, pithy orange, earthy Nelson, lots of resiny pine. Taste is pine bitter, soft citrous fruits, earthy Nelson, grapefruit, lemon, apple. It’s also got a lot of yeast in there and there’s a bready, yeasty taste in there. Pine is really dominant.

Bottle, from a trade with Theydon_Bois. Clear golden beer with a rich lasting offwhite head. Hoppy fruity aroma, pine, citrus, grapes, mango, caramel, biscuits, some floral notes. Hoppy pine flavor, floral, citrus, earthy notes, pine apples, grapes, orange peels, biscuit, peach, some caramel. Nice distinct bitterness and with an earthy, floral citrus finish.

Bottle from Theatre of Wine, Greenwich. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Orange pith, pineapple and mango aroma. Quite a strong hop presence on the nose. Chocolate orange flavour, some earthy tones. Sharp hop bite. Tips down the throat very nicely.

Didn’t note whether I had this on draft or by bottle. @ CBC Clerkenwell. The pour’s amber with a small head. Quite an earthy nose. Dank green biomass. Notes of pineapple and mango. The taste is peach and grapefruit fruit salad. A bit of sea salt. Moderately dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. A little less abrasive tasting than the nose suggests. Overall, decent.

500ml from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Brassy gold- clouded to taste- with a slick collar and quintessential cask-like Kernel condition. Huge flowers, fur, Rubicon on Feta, primarily Jelly Tot aroma. Hop soup, blackcurrant Jelly Tot, soapy flowers and anise hop flavour structured from beneath with vast husk, biscuit and honey. Splendid but no better (or more complex) than the brace of single hop Mallinsons bottles I just saw off.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Many thanks to Bruce for the local freshness. Pours hazy, deep gold with a light foam head. Yeah, typically delicious. Plenty of dry, pithy citrus, some rindy bitterness, delicate pale malt sugars. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bright. Clean, slightly flinty finish with further citrus rind, orange, grapefruit. Lovely.

Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy amber with a big, off-white head. Massive, Hoppy aroma. Sweetish tropical fruit flavours, with some oranges and pine resin, leading to a dryish finish. Very good.

Heated orange, dank haze and steady white bubbled head. Moussaka cereal nose with Capri Sun foil nose. Fairly loose watery initial taste, crisp and inauspicious with faint metallic / blood orange edge. Mouthfeel is superb, dips the palate in a cooling zesty carbonated kiwi and appley crispness building to a frothy passion fruit crunch. The NS is compelling especially for not showing up at kick off. Proper cavalier pineyness, super juicy with an infiltrating bitterness. Would love a swatch of this on keg.
