Bottled. Murky orange with yeasty sediments and a small white head. Aroma is pale malty, fruity and herbal hoppy. Light bodied. Sweet fruity flavor, medium bitter finish. Doesn’t seem as fresh in hop profile as I could have hoped for.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle from the (old) brewery. Poured a hazy, effervescent orange with a large, fluffy, lasting white head; loose, soapy lacework. Wow, what a spectacular aroma: so fresh, so bright, so juicy. Big zesty bittersweet hops all over this. Peach, mango, kiwi, tangerines & grapefruit on the nose. So crisp and hoppy to taste: loaded with spicy citrus fruits and a slightly peppery backdrop. Finished with a piney, lightly resinous, grapefruit & lemon pithy bitterness. Medium body, fresh & crisp medium carbonation & a lingering bittersweet finish. Some nutty pale malts beneath all the hops but they certainly take a backseat role. Really lovely & all at 5% & change. Punches way above its weight.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light semi dry and crisp palate. Nelson skunkyness pretty much dominates the start with some bitter starfruit - grapefruit in the mid. A little fresh Simcoe orange comes through in the semi dry finish along with creamy malt. Some bitter linger. Fully flavoured APA - nice.
